So what do we do with all these images? Here are a few sample album pages. They look small here, but each page is printed 10x10", so the 2-page images below are  actually 10"x20":

Looking for a Wedding Photographer? Please read:

Choosing a wedding photographer can be a daunting task. What is important? What's not? Where do I start? Below is my suggestion on how to go about this.

I think you are starting in the right place - the internet. This is a great way to partially accomplish Step 1 below. Choose your favorite few and arrange a meeting. You will want to see albums and prints, so you know what the finished product looks like. This completes Step 1 At this time, you can now complete the remainder of the steps as well.

  1. Style and Quality: Choose a photographer whose work at leastsatisfies you. Preferably, select a photographer whose work WOW's you! Your cake will be eaten, the tuxes returned, the gown put away, and the flowers will wilt. However, your wedding pictures will likely become cherished family heirlooms, passed-down from generation to generation. This is not the place to compromise. If the photographer's work is not what you are looking for, cross him/her off your list - and that includes me!
  2. Personality: Find a photographer who you like personally. On your wedding day, you will interact more with the photographer than anyone else, including the coordinator and pastor.
  3. Assurance: Ask for references. It is easy to put together a few good pictures and to be charming in an interview.
  4. Speed: Ask how long it takes to get an album designed and delivered. You will be amazed at how this answer will vary.
  5. Price: Now, with the remaining candidate(s), ask about prices, and make sure you are comparing “apples to apples”.

The cheapest route: If you are considering asking a friend or relative to provide the photography for your wedding, let me offer this word of advice: If your friend/relative has never shot a wedding and eagerly accepts your challenge, I would be very, very concerned, because it is clear that he/she does not understand what is involved. If, however, your friend/relative tries to talk you into hiring a pro, then maybe there is a chance he/she will do a good job. This is because he/she understands that having a digital SLR and being able to take good pictures does not make them a wedding photographer. If you somehow convince this person to do it, likely he/she will nearly kill themselves preparing for your big day. Regardless, do you want to take this kind of a chance on pictures you can never recapture if not done correctly?

Below are comments from Todd & Cara Townsend (first five pictures on this page).

The photos that Jeff Bradshaw took of our wedding are priceless.  Not only do they capture the events and people, but they also express the anticipation and joy of our big day.  When we look at the pictures or watch the slideshow (something we do quite frequently!) they bring back all of the emotions as if no time had passed at all.

Beforehand, Jeff wanted to get a better idea of the types of photos and poses we wanted, so we looked through a beautiful book, "The Art of Wedding Photography." While the photos in the book were clever and stunning, we appreciate Jeffs approach even more.  In addition to being beautiful, each pose and candid shot reveal the essence of the moment in a way that is specific to just us.  To say it simply, Jeff captured the "personality" of our wedding perfectly.

We were impressed with both quality and quantity of photos.   Jeffs photographic talent is not limited to framing the posed shots; he also has a unique journalistic style.  Jeffs progression of pictures showed the event in its entiretyfrom our preparations to our goodbyes.  With all that was going on, our heads were buzzing and thankfully Jeff had a plan and worked (seemingly) effortlessly to give us truly memorable photos.

Lastly, the slideshow Jeff put together is something we will treasure forever.  He tailored the slideshow to us as a couple by using some of the songs that were part of our wedding music.  We made copies for our families and friends, who have remarked at how lovingly it was crafted.  And many people commented that it was more enjoyable to watch than a video or looking through an album.

To sum it up: Jeff has an uncanny talent of capturing high quality pictures that tell a story and leave a lasting memory.  We were so blessed to have him as our wedding photographer!

And here is what Robyn Arnold had to say:

My husband and I feel so blessed to have the photographs of our beautiful wedding day! Jeff was so kind to start the day as soon as I arrived at the church. He spent the whole day with us. Jeff paid careful attention to catching my husband and me in our special moments, but not intruding on our day.

By the time we were back from our honeymoon, Jeff had a slideshow of our wedding day on-line for us to view. I was able to share this with family and friends all over the country as well as my fellow teachers at work. I watched it over and over again!!!

Jeff designed my album and met with me to make whatever changes I desired. I enjoyed how Jeff went through all the photographs that I might like in my album and showed me different ways of presenting them. Shortly after all the changes were made, I received my beautiful album!

I am very pleased with Jeff's photography services. I have recommended him to several friends who are getting married!!! Jeff really puts lots of his time into making your day as special as it can be and capturing all those special images.
